Calvary greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We specially welcome you to the month of August 2026.

We give all glory, honour, and adoration to the Almighty God for His faithfulness, unfailing love, and sustaining grace throughout the past month. We thank Him for the remarkable testimonies, divine interventions, and Kingdom manifestations we experienced as we journeyed through “Heaven on Earth Realities.” Indeed, God has once again proven that He is not distant from the affairs of His people but continually reveals His Kingdom wherever His will is embraced. It is my earnest prayer that every encounter, testimony, and revelation received in the previous month shall become a permanent reality in our lives, and that we shall continue to live as visible expressions of Heaven here on earth, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

But what is the Holy Spirit saying to us for the month of August 2026?

As we enter the month of August, the Holy Spirit is calling us into a deeper dimension of fellowship with God—not merely to witness His power but to become carriers of His divine fire. Every significant move of God throughout Scripture was marked by His fire. Fire is the visible expression of God’s holy presence, His power, His purity, and His approval. Wherever God’s fire descends, lives are transformed, altars are revived, destinies are empowered, and impossible situations give way to divine possibilities.

Our anchor text in Exodus 19:18 declares:

“And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire…”

The mountain did not become holy because of its height, but because of God’s presence. His fire transformed an ordinary mountain into a place of divine encounter. This reminds us that it is not our abilities, achievements, or positions that distinguish us—it is the abiding presence of God. Wherever His fire rests, ordinary people become extraordinary vessels through whom God reveals His glory.

Our second anchor text, Hebrews 12:28–29, reminds us:

“…let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.”

This profound truth reveals that the Fire of God is not merely an experience to be admired but a lifestyle to be embraced. God does not simply give fire—He is Fire. His fire purifies without destroying the surrendered heart, refines without consuming His children, empowers without exalting the flesh, and preserves all who remain yielded to Him. To walk with God is to continually live under the influence of His holy fire.

As we also gather this month for the RCCG Annual Convention, themed “Mountain Movers,” we are reminded that mountains do not move by human strength or intellectual ability. Every mountain that has ever bowed in Scripture yielded to the power and presence of God. The fire that descended upon Mount Sinai is the same fire that empowers believers today to overcome every mountain of sin, fear, limitation, stagnation, impossibility, and spiritual opposition. Therefore, the true Mountain Mover is the believer whose life burns continually with the Fire of God.

As believers, we should note the following truths:

• The Fire of God is the evidence of His abiding presence, transforming ordinary lives into instruments of extraordinary purpose. (Exodus 19:18; Acts 2:3–4).
• The Fire of God purifies our hearts, consumes every work of the flesh, and continually conforms us to the image of Christ. (Malachi 3:2–3; Hebrews 12:29).
• The Fire of God empowers believers for effective service, bold witness, spiritual authority, and Kingdom exploits. (Acts 1:8; 2 Timothy 1:6–7).
• The Fire of God keeps the believer’s altar alive, sustaining a life of prayer, worship, obedience, and intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit. (Leviticus 6:12–13; Romans 12:11).
• The Fire of God gives us divine authority to overcome every mountain, making us victorious over every opposition and effective in fulfilling God’s eternal purpose. (Zechariah 4:7; Mark 11:23).

Beloved, God is not looking for people who merely admire His fire; He is looking for people who will carry it. The greatest need of this generation is not more information but more consecrated believers whose lives burn continually with the presence of God. When the Fire of God rests upon a believer, fear gives way to boldness, weakness is exchanged for strength, compromise is replaced with holiness, and impossibilities bow before divine authority.

This month, refuse to live with a cold spirit or a neglected altar. Refuse a form of godliness without its power. Allow the Holy Spirit to consume everything within you that does not glorify Christ. Let your heart become an altar where the fire never goes out, your life a testimony of God’s transforming power, and your walk with Him a continual expression of His glory.

Therefore, the prophetic theme for the month of August 2026 is:

‘THE FIRE OF GOD’

– Exodus 19:18; Hebrews 12: 28-29

May the Fire of God descend afresh upon your life this month. May every impurity be consumed, every gift within you be stirred into full manifestation, and every spiritual mountain before you become a plain. May your altar never lose its fire, your passion for God never grow cold, and your life continually reflect His holiness, power, and glory. As you encounter the Lord throughout this month, may the fire you receive become an abiding flame that empowers you to fulfil your divine assignment and become a true Mountain Mover for His Kingdom, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS FOR AUGUST 2026

1. I declare that the Fire of God shall burn continually upon your life this month, purifying your heart, refining your character, and awakening a fresh passion for God’s presence. Every form of spiritual lukewarmness is consumed in Jesus’ name. – Exodus 19:18; Hebrews 12:29

6.  I declare that every spiritual gift, divine grace, and kingdom assignment within you shall be stirred into full manifestation. You shall serve God with fresh fire, boldness, and effectiveness. – 2 Timothy 1:6; Acts 1:8
7. I declare that by the Fire of God you shall become a true mountain mover. Every barrier before your health, family, ministry, career, and destiny shall give way to the power of God. – Matthew 17:20; Zechariah 4:7
8.  I declare that every encounter you receive in God’s presence this month and during the 74th annual convention shall become an abiding impartation. The fire kindled in your spirit shall remain alive, producing lasting transformation and greater exploits. – Acts 2:1–4; Isaiah 40:31
9.  I declare that your life shall remain a living altar where the Fire of God never goes out. You shall continually burn with holy zeal, reflect Christ’s glory, and shine as His witness in every place. – Leviticus 6:12–13; Matthew 5:14–16
